Saturday Stuff
I spent this morning busy, busy with yardwork and housework. I've spent this afternoon catching up on LOST Season 1, which I got on DVD for my birthday. Here's what I'm thinking:
- LOST is a deep show. It's also better viewed on DVD all at once instead of as it airs on network TV. I just recognized on this second viewing that the book Sawyer is reading is Watership Down. Aha! Logic versus emotion; individuals versus capitalism; freedom versus enslavement. Oh yeah, I see it now.
- Dr. Horrible is fucking incredible. If you haven't checked it out, why not?
- I'm following Sly B's mad dash through Charlaine Harris' Southern Vampire (aka Sookie) novels. These are the books that are being turned into the new HBO series True Blood. I don't know what the show will be like, but the books are a lot of fun.
- Mmm, coffee. I'm currently working on a pound of Seabrook Blend from Grounds for Change. It's way good.
- We have the newly released Season 2 of Eureka on DVD -- the first disc at least -- from Netflix. Hopefully we'll watch an episode or two tonight.

Thanks for the dose of Dr. Horrible. It was good. The singing worked, even though I had my doubts.
You added meet your list of podcast subscription. Thank you.
It's a weird surreal tale and I'm not a professional writer. Hopefully you enjoy. If not please let me know how I can improve.
Again thank you. :-)
Hey Trucker! I'm looking forward to starting the story -- so far, I've only listened to the BS episode, and liked it!
