Don't Hate -- Congratulate

A friend recently told me that I was too old -- given my recent diagnosis of bursitis in my left knee -- to say "da bomb." Hm.

The very same friend, in what could be arguably called ironic given the timing and the similarity of our respective lists of prescription drugs, sent me a text message the very same night that included the phrase "don't hate - congratulate."

If I'm not too old, and you guys can tell me, I'm adopting this phrase. It's both a phrase and a life philosophy. I like it.
