Defeat Only Makes Me Meaner

The election results are very disheartening.

Locally, the whacko faction now dominates Longmont City Council and the Mayor's office. I don't look forward to more Walmarts and Sam's Clubs, or more dominance by the New Life Church crowd. Don't Boulderize Longmont is the dumbest fucking political slogan of all time, and it worked.

Nationally, the gay marriage defeat hits hard where it hurts. I am wholly offended that my right to wed or not is up for a vote. It's a shameful chapter in this country's history, and it's time to change up the strategy.

I'm going to have to regroup a bit. Objectionable Materials might just become a political blog out of necessity. Stay tuned.
