I am always really critical of my favorite books turned into film or TV, but boy did I enjoy Season 1 of HBO's True Blood. I will definitely be adding the DVDs to my wish list, and can't wait for Season 2. Leave it to Alan Ball to get something as queer as the Sookie series just right. I love his take on Lafayette, and really love what he did with Tara.
For Season 2, I hope that Pam gets more of a role in the story, and that we see more of Bill's progeny - she's funny.
I wish there were a few more episodes left!
