In the beginning, it was I who brought the geeky/nerdiness to my love affair with EssBee. If you'd ask me, I would not be able to pinpoint when it was that her inner-Geek took control of the body, but has it ever! (I have a feeling that Joss Whedon may be partly to blame for this and perhaps a Hobbit or two). One of the things I love most about EssBee is that when she does something, she does it all the way. I wonder how long it will be before we have to purchase special furniture to store her comics (she has not yet reached the level that she buys one comic to read and one to remain unopened). She is gobbling comics and sci-fi/fantasy novels as though they are dipped in chocolate, and don't even get me started on the number of podcasts she listens to. There is nothing like watching her watch Battlestar Gallactica or Torchwood. She has by far surpassed me on the geek-o-meter and is heading to infinity at warp speed. I like this change in her. I will know we've passed the point of no return when she puts on a costume as she pulls me along to DragonCon.

You got it right, love. It was Joss Whedon, 100%. Buffy the Vampire Slayer is the best show ever, I think we can all agree.
Now that I know what I've been missing, I have a lot of catching up to do!
