Last week, someone I don't like very much gave me the gift of a 6-pack of Paulaner Hefe-Weizen as a thank you for some crap I did for her. Knowing this person, I didn't expect much . . . but that's another story.
This beer is FANTASTIC. I have never liked a wheat beer, but apparently, the Germans know how to brew wheat. Paulaner is smooth, a little sweet, and has a bite to it that is just right. I bet that this would be a wonderful summer beer (though how would I know since it's about 18 degrees outside as I type this).
Pick some up if you have a hankerin' for some light, but interesting, brew.
I'm going to go with a 8 out of 10.
