Plans for tonight:
- Watering the garden, obviously.Maybe chanting to the tomatoes so they consider turning red.
- Eating a Sicilian Summer Salad from the weekly Splendid Table email. We might actually listen to Splendid Table while we prepare it.
- Clearing our shit from directly at (on all sides) the entrance to our attic so the stove guy can come and give us an estimate to install our new pellet stove.
- Watching an episode or two of Deadwood Season 3, which is sad because we’re almost done.
Wild, huh? We try to savor each moment.

I went through a period of mourning at the end of Deadwood.
