Me: "Hi, boss. Just calling to let you know that I'm home. There was a huge natural gas leak today, and were sent home."
Him: "WHO told you to go home??"
Me: "The firemen, and the biggest boss on the premises."
Him: "Wow, that's awful. I just heard you all could have been back working by now. Next time, call me okay?"
Me: "Uh . . . "
Him: "Well, I guess it's better safe than sorry . . . "
Me: "Uh . . . "
Him: "Well, talk to you later!"
